Vertebral Metrics, Inc. developed an instrument to measure X, Y, and Z positions on each vertebra in the standing position.  Originally, the Company designed the product to study the biomechanical changes in women during pregnancy (e.g., curvatures and lateral deviations of the spinal column).  Due to the significant number of individuals suffering from spinal pain, the Vertebral Metrics device is intending to undergo redefining dimensions such that it can be used to measure dysfunction of each vertebra and intervertebral distance in all individuals.
